Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman (Hell in a Cell)

It’s unlikely, but I think it would be wonderful if this opened the show. Just 20-30 minutes of absolute chaos and destruction to set the tone for the night. Normally it would probably be a bit haphazard to start a PPV with such a huge match, as it could kill the crowd and make everything that comes after feel less special. However, this could be an exception since there will probably be plenty of highly anticipated matchups on the show that will feel like a big deal regardless of what precedes them.

I don’t think Braun’s apparent alliance with Ziggler and McIntyre is going to last too long. The way I see it, all signs seem to point to Bray Wyatt and (Luke?) Harper ultimately reforming the Wyatt Family alongside Strowman to do battle with The Shield. Maybe the reunion will go down during this match.

Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella vs The Miz & Maryse

Although much of Hell in a Cell’s card seemed to write itself from the moment SummerSlam ended, there was a bit of mystery over what the next step would be in the Miz/Bryan rivalry. SD Live responded to this mystery by making this the show’s first confirmed match.

I’m not personally overly enthusiastic, but I’m sure it’ll be a good time. The mixed tag definitely makes sense and is an effective way to continue the feud without watering down their singles encounters.
