Finn Balor has had a peculiar career in WWE so far. He began by taking NXT by storm. Balor was one of the first franchise players for the NXT brand. Hardcore fans of the product knew how talented the Irish man is from his time in Japan. Those that were just getting to know Balor fell in love with his ring work and demon altered ego. Finn Balor has a style that blends finesse with hard strikes. He is never a bore to watch.

However, since losing the Universal Championship because of injury the former NXT feels stuck on a booking treadmill. Balor is great enough to be featured on Raw every week. Yet he is not a big deal enough to be consistently holding a singles championship. Part of the reason for this because outside of the demon, Balor lacks charisma and mic skills. If he is not wrestling , there is not much entertainment value provided by his character. He has been locked into a program with Baron Corbin that has no real meaning.
