4. Daniel Bryan vs. Andrade Cien Almas

A superstar that has taken Tuesday nights by storm over the past few months has been Andrade Cien Almas.  The former NXT standout hasn’t had a major feud up to this point on the main roster, but every opportunity he has been given, he has knocked it out of the park alongside his manager Zelina Vega.

That trend continued last week when Almas took on Daniel Bryan in what turned out to be a great match even with the non-finish courtesy of The Miz.  Almas wasn’t content with it, however, and he addressed Bryan in last night’s opening segment to get another match with The Yes Man.  The match took place immediately after the opening segment and the two would put on another standout encounter.

Every match Almas has been in on the main roster has pretty much been a tremendous showcase of talent and that continued last night.  Given the caliber of talent between Bryan and Almas, there’s really not anything else these two can do in a match together besides light it up.  The match wasn’t as long as it could have been, but they did more than enough in the timeframe they were given to make a big impact.

Almas always pulls out a super-innovative moment in every match and after he missed a top rope moonsault attempt by landing on his feet, only to hit Bryan with a standing moonsault from the ring, it looked like he might be able to pull out a win.  But the crafty Bryan worked his way back in the match and would get the win over Almas after a running knee.  This match was great and the storytelling involved was superb as well.

These two could wrestle every week and it would probably never get old given the immense talent both of these men possess.
