When we come back from commercial, Tessa Blanchard is calling shots in the locker room, and gets herself kicked out for her “lack of respect”. Raise your hand if you’re surprised. No one? Good.

Eli Drake vs. Trevor Lee

Eli Drake is here for another open challenge, DUMMIES. He came down to Mexico to take out the basura. Drake learned just enough Spanish to let the Mexican audience know that he’s ready to take on whoever walks down that ramp and challenges him.

It’s Trevor Lee, who’s done trying to be Drake’s friend, and Drake wastes absolutely now time laying kicks into Lee’s torso. Lee forearms Drake so hard that he rounds out of the ring.

The match is very much a back and forth. Trevor Lee seems to have the crowd behind him, but Drake clotheslines Lee into the mat, hard. Trevor almost gets the pin on a schoolboy, but it doesn’t take much longer for Eli Drake to secure the win with the Gravy Train.

Grade: C+

A sold technical match. I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, Trevor Lee is dangerously underrated as a performer. It read as more of a squash match for Drake than anything, and it suffered on account of its brevity.
