Tessa Blanchard vs Taya Valkyrie Prediction: Tessa Retains

Alright, so I’ve never been shy about the fact that Tessa Blanchard is it for me when it comes to professional wrestling. To be as young and have as much talent as Tessa does is a clear cut sign for nothing but boundless success in the future.

Now, what exactly does that mean for her Bound For Glory Knockouts Championship defense against Taya Valkyrie? Well, a few things – after it was revealed Tessa had signed with the company for two-years, it became very apparent Impact was ready to make her a focal point of their Knockouts Division.

With that in mind, I think it’s clear that Tessa accomplished anywhere near what she could as Knockouts Champion, and therefore having her drop the championship to Taya Valkyrie at Bound For Glory, no matter how phenomenal of a competitor Taya may be, would be just plain wrong.

Tessa is one of the top heels in this company, and there’s boundless (no pun intended) potential for her and what she can do as champion. She can really get a reign of terror going for her if Impact booking allows for it. I’d also like to point out that Tessa’s pay-per-view feuds (this one with Taya, and her Slammiversary match with Allie) how all been booking super quickly, and I would hope that in a feud in which Tessa looses her title, the build-up would be much stronger than what it has been and what it is here.
