WWE Evolution 2018: 3 Reasons Why Becky Lynch Should Win
Becky Lynch Has All The Momentum
With how excellent Becky has been over the past couple of months, it seems like itâd be a great idea for WWE to continue to capitalize on her popularity as a champion. Sheâs carried herself in a way that others simply donât as a champ, as she holds her head higher than everybody else and does a great job of brushing off criticisms like sheâs above the noise.
Lynch gets louder and louder reactions no matter what she says or does, and she has the crowd in the palm in her hands. Few other superstars in WWE are as adept as getting these kinds of reactions, and, honestly, only Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have done it to this degree in 2018.
As such, Lynch should retain the title at Evolution. She has such a high ceiling as a champion, and sheâs really taken to this new character perfectly. Pure babyface Becky Lynch was a great character, but this brooding, angry, determined, tweener Becky is special.
Charlotte is a great superstar in her own right, and I think she deserves more credit from the fan base for the job sheâs done in this feud. Her work in the ring has been solid, as usual, and she is starting to hit her stride more and more as a babyface, even if itâs impossible to get cheered over Becky in a rivalry.
That said, Charlotte doesnât have the âhot handâ that Becky does, and I think WWE needs to ride this wave with Becky as a champion for as long as it lasts. That SmackDown 1000 segment where Becky was cheered over Edge was a clear example of the heights sheâs reaching.
