WWE Raw: Results, Review, and Analysis for October 22nd, 2018
Paul Heyman has nothing but wonderful and uplifting words to say about Roman Reigns and his incomprehensible strength, and the strength of the entire locker room.
Back to business, though, and Paul is quick to remind everyone, particularly Braun Strowman, that there is no way Brock Lesnar leaves Crown Jewel without the Universal Championship.
Braun Strowman of course disagrees, and says he’s ready to take home the Championship, and when he does, Roman Reigns in first in line for a title opportunity, not Brock Lesnar.
Not getting the memo of the “a and b” conversation, Drew McIntyre is out on the ramp to offer a Claymore to Braun. Maybe this will be a triple threat after all?
Drew and Dolph Ziggler are still going strong though, and they’re ready to get the job done tonight in their match with the Raw Tag Team Championships on the line against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.
Elias is in the ring for a promo against Apollo Crews, and doesn’t even get a song out before Apollo comes out for a match! How rude!
I’m honestly very happy Apollo Crews is getting a real chance to get back in the ring, not that Titus Worldwide wasn’t great, but Apollo Crews was truly too talents to be as pushed to the side as he was.
Look how good this match was! Why doesn’t WWE let either one of these men wrestle as much as they should? Apollo’s a flyer, and Elias is a brute. They’re completely under utilized. Elias gets the victory, and holy crap, it is weird to hear Elias’s actual theme music.
