2. Dean Ambrose Is Already A Convincing Heel
Last week’s Raw was one of the most shocking episodes in a long time on many fronts. The real-life situation involving Roman Reigns took all of the headlines last week, but a storyline development later in the night shocked everyone as well.
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose won the Raw Tag Team Championship from Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre in the main event last week in what should have been an emotional moment in honor of their Shield brother. However, Ambrose shockingly turned on Rollins after the match was over in one of the most shocking heel turns in a long time.
The Architect wanted an explanation last night and he called out Ambrose to give him that explanation. Instead of coming down to the ring, The Lunatic Fringe stood in the crowd in Shield-like fashion. Rollins tried to get an explanation out of Ambrose, but he just stood there in disgust without saying a single word. This understandably enraged Rollins, but Ambrose never budged.
After a few choice words, Rollins decided to come up to Ambrose himself and beat some sense into him. However, a cold and disgusted Ambrose walked off, leaving Rollins even more furious than he already was. Without saying a single word, Ambrose is already a convincing heel that captures everyone’s attention. This bodes well for the future of this likely feud and the future of heel Ambrose.
He really seems like a lunatic these days, but The Lunatic Fringe has snapped to the point where nobody knows what to expect out of him, not even his former Shield brother.
