WWE Raw: Results, Review, and Analysis for November 5th, 2018
Raw opens tonight in Manchester, England with what looks to be the entire Raw roster on the ramp and a team of security circled around the ring. Baron Corbin comes out first, and now it all makes sense. I’m pretty sure the entire roster is here to be a barrier in between Corbin and Braun Strowman. Yeah, good luck with that.
No one in the audience cares about the recap package played when Corbin’s in the ring.
The highlight of Corbin complaining about Shane McMahon, Survivor Series, and the like is Dolph Ziggler’s expression when Corbin mentions Dolph had the title of “Best In The World” stolen from him.
Baron’s the captain of Team Raw this year; I’m extremely surprised. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre also make the cut, and so does Braun Strowman.
For the women’s team, Alexa Bliss is chosen as captain. Bayley and Sasha Banks are throwing a lot of shade on the ramp, too. Actually, all the other women look like they’re less than interested. You didn’t hear it from me, though.
Alexa Bliss as captain apparently has the power to book matches now? She books an Evolution rematch for The Riott Squad and Bayley, Sasha, and Natalya.
Before she can book it for “next”, Kurt Angle comes out from the back to challenge Corbin to a match, and if Kurt wins, he’s captain for Team Raw at Survivor Series.
Before Alexa can book the women’s match again, Braun Strowman totally mows over security and goes straight for Corbin, chasing him into the back. Literally every man on the roster tries to hold him back… and then they fight each other?
Braun’s now in the back, and just like I suggested, he’s telling the poor production assistant who crossed his path that Corbin’s going to “get these hands”.
