3. Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Cross

No superstar in the WWE is as hot right now or has as much momentum as Becky Lynch, the SmackDown Women’s Champion.  The Irish Lass Kicker is “the” woman and “the” man, but after getting a huge win over Charlotte Flair at Evolution in a match of the year candidate, she can back up what she says.

Lynch’s attention is now on Survivor Series and her pending match with Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey in a huge match.  The past couple of weeks have seen Lynch address Rousey and their match, and the same happened last night.  She gave a knockout promo before eventually saying she wanted a fight.  The champ would get just that in the debut of an NXT standout.

The unpredictable Nikki Cross made her SmackDown debut and wanted a fight with Lynch, so The Irish Lass Kicker obliged and went one-on-one with Cross.  The match didn’t get much time all things considered, but it did what it needed to do for both superstars.  Cross had her moments, but Lynch was the one needing to look impressive and she did so.

Cross wound up tapping out to the Dis-Arm-Her and the SmackDown Women’s Champion has even more momentum heading into Survivor Series.  This was a nice surprise to see Cross debut on the main roster and she could be in for a nice run on the blue brand.  The champ walked away with the most out of this match, however, and it was needed.

The man is here to stay and she has a lot to look forward to with The Baddest Woman On The Planet.
