Shayna Baszler (c) vs. Kairi Sane – NXT Women’s Championship (Best of 3 falls)

This will be the third meeting between these two ladies in a three-month span. In their previous encounter at WWE Evolution, Baszler forced Sane to pass out to her Kirifuda Clutch, making her the first two-time NXT Women’s Champion.

Of course, Baszler received a bit of help to secure the victory in the form of her MMA Four Horsewomen comrades Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir. This appeared to plant the seeds for Baszler, Duke, and Shafir running roughshod over the NXT women’s division for a bit before Sane and two partners — likely Io Shirai and, (insert babyface here) — team up to fend them off.

Because the NXT crew taped their final batch of shows before Evolution, the creative team couldn’t really take advantage of what took place at the inaugural all-women’s pay-per-view, which is why the only segments that built to this rubber match were a video of general manager William Regal informing Baszler and her pals that Baszler’s rematch with Sane would be a 2-out-of-3 falls match and a video package that aired on the most recent episode of NXT.

This is a tough one to pick. Given a myriad of factors — Baszler’s age, a possible Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen feud on the main roster — there’s no reason to keep Baszler and her flunkies at the NXT level for much longer. Meanwhile, Sane can be the quintessential lead babyface for a brand that desperately needs that right now. So expect another classic between these two that sees “The Pirate Princess” fight from underneath to take the final two falls — as the heel, Baszler will likely take the first — and reclaim her treasure.

Prediction: Kairi Sane wins 2-1 to win the NXT Women’s Title
