NXT: Kassius Ohno Is Prepared For Matt Riddle

Kassius Ohno and Matt Riddle will have a match on the episode of NXT TV after TakeOver: WarGames 2, and this is definitely a feud to keep an eye on. Ohno already called Riddle and Keith Lee, NXT’s newest high-profile signings and two of the best wrestlers in the world, “shiny new toys”. Clearly, the disgruntled Ohno is excited to get his hands on Lee and Riddle, with the latter being his No. 1 target.

Ohno cut another bitter backstage promo on Riddle this week, interrupting Riddle’s interview with Cathy Kelley.

He cut off Riddle and was upset that the “King of Bros” didn’t go to NXT GM William Regal to request a match against “The Knockout Artist”. Ohno insulted Riddle and essentially threw down a challenge, yet Riddle didn’t ask for a match against Ohno.

The veteran told Riddle that he was testing the newcomer, as Ohno called himself a “Man of Action”, recalling his immediate challenges against Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura. Ohno calls Riddle overhyped and says that his whole identity is a veneer. The Knockout Artist called him “trash”.

Riddle, of course, accepted Ohno’s challenge, and the match will be set for next week. He seems quite confident that he’ll be able to handle Ohno, and, well, why shouldn’t he? Riddle is the clear favorite to win this match, and it should be an absolute treat for the NXT Universe.
