Toni Storm vs. Jordynne Grace announced for SHEvivor Series
Pro Wrestling: EVE will have its final show of 2018 on Dec. 8, and it already looks like a must-see event with Toni Storm vs. Jordynne Grace announced on the card.
Yesterday, Pro Wrestling: EVE tweeted out a first-time ever match announcement, as Jordynne Grace will take on Toni Storm at SHEvivor Series on Dec. 8. This should be another incredible show from EVE, and Storm vs. Grace counts as a dream match for just about every women’s wrestling fan on the planet.
Toni Storm first emerged as a rising star in last year’s Mae Young Classic, going all the way to the semifinals before losing to eventual winner – and future NXT Women’s Champion – Kairi Sane. This year, Storm went all the way, beating the legendary Meiko Satomura before pinning Io Shirai, arguably the best wrestler in the world today, in the Mae Young Classic 2 finals at the all-women’s Pay Per View Evolution.
But “before” Storm beat Satomura in WWE, she pinned her at Pro Wrestling: EVE’s Global Women Strike show in September. It was another sensational performance from these two in EVE, and whenever either woman is on the card, a special match is sure to follow.
The same can be said for Jordynne Grace, who has appeared at EVE’s events a few times this year, including on commentary at “Global Women Strike”. Grace was unable to compete due to an ankle injury she suffered in September at a NOVA Pro Wrestling event.
However, Grace still made her Impact Wrestling debut at their TV tapings despite the injury, and while she did have to take a break to rest her ankle, she’ll be ready to take on Storm at SHEvivor Series in just a couple of weeks.
More information about SHEvivor Series, including tickets, can be found on Pro Wrestling: EVE’s website. The show starts at 8 p.m. local time in London at the Resistance Gallery, and it will be EVE’s final show of the year.
They’re already hyping up the build to Wrestle Queendom 2, which will take place on June 30 next year. Tickets are already selling fast for Wrestle Queendom 2, which isn’t a surprise considering the first edition of the show was one of the best wrestling events of the year.
