2. Moonsault/Neckbreaker (Chad Gable & Bobby Roode)

It was this move that gave me the idea to try and nail down the best/top tandem moves in WWE. During the Survivor Series Kickoff Show, Chad Gable climbed to the top rope while Bobby Roode set Eric Young up for a neckbreaker — a ROODE AWAKENING, if you will.

But Roode held Young in place until Gable crashed down on Young’s exposed mid-section with a moonsault, adding some extra pizzazz to the neckbreaker. It wasn’t the first time the Ready, Willing, and Gloriously Gable duo had busted out such a combo. Just a week prior, they used it against The Ascension in a match that was to determine who would captain the Survivor Series team.

It’s one of the best things to come out of the seemingly random pairing of Gable and Roode over the past few months. The lengthy feud against The Ascension hasn’t provided much opportunity for anything memorable, but this maneuver is pretty impressive.

Just the body control necessary to land the moonsault properly without injuring the exposed opponent is mind-boggling. Factor in the timing from Roode to hit the neckbreaker, and the possibility for error is higher than you might think. But they’ve been nailing it so far.

Side note: Roode’s evolution into a Rick Rude clone isn’t going unnoticed. His reliance on neckbreakers is becoming almost a joke.
