7. The Compactor (Heavy Machinery)

I am an unapologetic mark for Heavy Machinery. Maybe it’s because I share a resemblance to both Tucker Knight and, more so, Otis Dozovic. Of course, I didn’t get the strength, just the appearance. Maybe I enjoy them because I’ve rarely seen wrestlers in WWE/NXT have as much fun as Tucky and Big Doz look like they’re having.

But, as a Steaks and Weights guy, I’d be a fool to ignore the sheer strength and body control necessary to pull off their signature maneuver, The Compactor (great name, too). Here’s Dozovic picking up an opponent for a scoop slam, holding him in place, and allowing his partner Knight to leap onto his back for added momentum and force to the slam.

Oh, that means there’s roughly 600 pounds of man falling on top of the victim at the close of the move. Try and tell me that “wrestling is fake” when there’s the equivalent of a grizzly bear laying on top of you after being hit by The Compactor.

Sometimes simple is the way to go when it comes to innovating, or creating. How much simpler could a move be than a basic scoop slam? And what did Heavy Machinery add into the mix? A piggy back ride?

There could be big things on the horizon for Dozovic and Knight should things continue on their current track. With a move like The Compactor in their arsenal, there’s no limit to what heights they can reach.
