4. The Usos vs. The Bar

The SmackDown tag team division has been putting the Raw tag team division to shame for a long while now.  There’s just a different feel over on Tuesday nights when it comes to tag team wrestling, and there’s no wonder why when looking at some of the high-caliber teams.

The Bar successfully moved past The New Day roadblock to retain its SmackDown Tag Team Championship, but last night saw Sheamus and Cesaro take on Jimmy and Jey Uso, who successfully led Team SmackDown at Survivor Series in the tag team elimination match.  This match would give The Usos a chance to get back in the tag team title hunt.

To no one’s surprise, these two teams put on a stellar match.  The action was impressive throughout and it really picked up towards the closing sequence.  It looked like The Bar had things in control, but the tag team prowess of The Usos paid dividends and they managed to knock off The Bar and have pinned the tag team champions.

It seems likely The Usos will challenge The Bar for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship in the near future.  It could likely take place at TLC and given how talented both teams are, a pay-per-view match could be a memorable encounter, especially if the match gets a stipulation involving tables, ladders, or chairs.

They are The Bar, but The Bar might have a date with the Uso Penitentiary in the very near future.

Final Grade: B+
