WWE TLC 2018 Match Card Predictions: Team Corbin vs. Team Angle

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Rusev [U.S. Title]🔵
Happy Rusev Day? Not quite. This week on SmackDown, Nakamura attacked Rusev in order to continue this useless feud. This potential match is as boring as Shinsuke Nakamura’s United States Title reign. It happened on SmackDown Live, and Rusev lost. It happened at Crown Jewel, and Rusev lost. If it happens at WWE TLC 2018, Rusev is going to lose, and there’s absolutely no question about it being on the kickoff to be watched for free on YouTube.
It has been long overdue for Nakamura to lose the United States title simply because he has done absolutely nothing substantial with it. There were neither significant storylines nor memorable matches to make his reign stand out at. However, the best babyface on SmackDown Live for Nakamura to lose the U.S. Title to is actually Rey Mysterio, not Rusev!
They have ruined Rusev’s new babyface run on SmackDown Live continually, especially after his useless and badly booked tag team break-up with Aiden English, who has not been seen since that one night in Milwaukee. Thus, I do not foresee Rusev dethroning Nakamura. This match is simply a filler used to stall Nakamura’s title reign even further until he finally gets dethroned by a better booked opponent. As for their future, God Bless the United States Title and God Bless Nak-America!
