2. Ronda Rousey calls out Charlotte to set up a rematch at Royal Rumble

At TLC, Ronda Rousey shocked us all by interrupting the first-ever women’s TLC match, costing Becky Lynch and Charlotte the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

With Lynch now inevitably having to face ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ in a rematch for the gold, Charlotte is left rather directionless without a true claim to the title.

That is, until Ronda Rousey angrily calls her out for a rematch tonight.

Charlotte and Rousey had a great match at Survivor Series that was cut short by a brutal kendo stick disqualification by Charlotte. Now that Rousey is free from her feud with Nia Jax, I expect her to be looking to continue to exact some revenge on Charlotte, even past knocking her off a ladder when she was just inches away from capturing a title.

Rousey will likely use Raw to explain this desire for revenge, while officially challenging Charlotte to a no disqualification match at Royal Rumble. That promo could easily be Rousey’s best mic work to date, as Rousey is usually at her best when she’s intense and fired up.

Additionally, this has all the makings of an amazing feud, despite the fact the two are on opposite brands, meaning this feud could become Rousey’s defining rivalry in WWE thus far. At least, that is until she faces off with Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, but that’s a prediction for another time.

At the end of the day, Raw’s Women’s Championship picture will likely exit Raw in the best state its been in for months. On the other hand, the outlook for Raw’s Intercontinental Championship picture may not be so exciting.
