Shinsuke Nakamura

The United States Champion of Nakamerica, Shinsuke Nakamura is another titan of the wrestling industry, having taken the IWGP Intercontinental Championship to new heights in NJPW before becoming one of NXT’s biggest stars as one of the only two-time NXT Champions (his long-time nemesis Samoa Joe was the other).

Though Nakamura failed to capture the WWE Championship and lost his champion vs. champion match to Seth Rollins at Survivor Series, The King of Strong Style has been one of the main roster’s most formidable heels since turning on AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34. Nakamura defeated Jeff Hardy, for example, in a matter of seconds, and he once defeated John Cena and Randy Orton in the same summer.

Nakamura would be an extremely difficult test for Mustafa Ali, but considering that Ali took the WWE Champion to his limit last week, he would stand a chance against one of the world’s finest strikers and submission artists.

Ali is a natural babyface whose athleticism and quickness would pose an intriguing threat against Nakamura’s MMA background, and this would also be a match for the ages.
