Apollo Crews

WWE fans have been waiting for ages for the company to give Apollo Crews a “push”, and we can only hope that day will come. But whenever Crews does get a chance to show what he can do inside the ring, he never disappoints, as he is one of the most underrated wrestlers on the WWE Raw roster.

We’ve seen Crews compete for the Intercontinental Championship before, as he had two matches against The Miz in 2016 with one of them occurring at SummerSlam. When he was on the SmackDown Live roster, Apollo seemed like a future star, but WWE decided to put him on the backburner after failing to develop his babyface character.

Slowly but surely, Crews has become a more intriguing character, and a match like this against an established heel could do wonders for Apollo in furthering his babyface work. These two could definitely trade blows in the strength department, and Crews, like Bate, has the athletic ability (both can perform standing shooting star presses) to hit some crazy babyface comebacks in an “Open Challenge” match.

Ambrose and Crews have surprisingly never faced each other on television before in singles competition, so this would be a thoroughly entertaining matchup that jibes with the “fresh” reset Vince McMahon and Co. have promised.
