Knockouts Tag Team Match: Allie & Su Yung vs. Jordynne Grace & Kiera Hogan

After last night’s final episode of Impact before Homecoming, we got two big match announcements to round out the card at Homecoming. Last night on Impact, the once-bubbly Allie was in full darkness mode as she took on her former best friend Kiera Hogan. While Hogan put up a great fight, it was Allie who took the win after a Codebreaker. That would’ve been the end of it, but Allie and Su Yung continued to assault Hogan after the match.

That’s when Impact Wrestling newcomer and current Progress Wrestling Women’s Champion Jordynne Grace suddenly appeared and saved Hogan from the beatdown. Grace planted Yung with a sitout powerbomb that would make Batista jealous and sent the supernatural twosome retreating to the back. This Sunday at Homecoming, Grace will be teaming with Hogan to take on Allie and Su Yung in what is sure to be a must-see showcase of the Knockouts Division.

Prediction: Jordynne Grace & Kiera Hogan

Sami Callihan vs. Willie Mack

The second addition made last night will pit “The Draw” Sami Callihan against Willie Mack. The issues here come almost came to a head a few weeks ago, but Rich Swann and Sami Callihan actually prevented Mack and the rest of oVe from coming to blows. There’s clearly a history between Swann and Callihan, but it’s not clear exactly what that is.

Swann won’t have time to worry about these two on Sunday as he’ll be focusing on trying to capture the X-Division Championship in the return of Ultimate X. Now Willie Mack has his eyes on Impact’s 2018 Wrestler of the Year. This could quietly be one of the best matches all night. A win for either star could help leverage them towards a future title shot of some kind, but the X-Factor is still whether Swann or oVe get involved in things.

Prediction: Sami Callihan
