10. Melina

With all the surprise entrants that we were gifted in 2018, there were a couple names omitted that stood out.

In this year’s Royal Rumble, it would be a welcoming surprise to hear Melina’s music ring throughout Chase Field.

Melina is a two-time Divas Championship, a three-time Women’s Champion and was one of the division’s biggest stars when she was an active member of the roster. There is no doubt that she should be a part of the 2019 contest.

As someone who was such a huge part of the division for nearly seven years, she deserves another chance to take her talents to a WWE ring. It would certainly bring the audience to their feet and would make for one of the more uplifting moments in the match.

Seeing her tangle with the likes of Sasha Banks and Naomi, while reigniting an old rivalry with Alicia Fox is something every member of the WWE Universe deserves.

11. Lana

Lana has come a long way since she first started her transition from manager to wrestler and that journey should continue at this year’s Royal Rumble.

Even if Lana isn’t the best technical wrestler on the roster, she is able to get the crowd behind her which is more than most can say at this point and time. The Lana Day and Rusev Day chants are sure to be ringing throughout the stadium, providing Lana with the necessary support she’ll need to have a nice little go of it in the ring.

Lana might not turn heads with her offense or move-set, but she’s definitely in line to make an impact because of her tenacity and determination to prove her haters wrong.

12. Bayley

In the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble, Bayley was lucky enough to draw entry #29. That being said, she wasn’t able to do much with her time in the ring.

WWE’s resident hugger only lasted around five minutes and was involved in just one elimination while helping to toss out Nia Jax. She ultimately got eliminated by her current tag team partner, Sasha Banks.

Bayley will need an impressive run at it in the 2019 edition to convince the audience that she still should be considered a threat in the division. Her eyes may currently be on the Women’s Tag Team Titles, but as evident by her partner’s actions last year, that may not be the case for everyone that she shares the ring with.

It could be foolish to align with Banks, knowing she might turn her back in a match like this at any point and time.
