3. The Revival Finally Capture Tag Team Gold on the WWE Main Roster
It’s been a bumpy road for Dash and Dawson after being called-up from NXT.
It seems as though they’ve been stuck in after-thought rivalries or in losing efforts against nefarious lucha-themed tag teams forever now.
In 2019, that all changes.
Its a new year on WWE Raw, and there will soon be new tag team champions as well. This week, I bet The Revival finally win the big one. They finally, once and for all, overcome all the obstacles they’ve faced on the main roster in order to actually become Raw’s “top guys.”
While I don’t have anything against the team of Chad Gable and Bobby Roode, they simply weren’t ready for a tag team title run when they first captured the belts. They’ve only just begun to shake away that feeling that they are more than just a thrown together tag team to add depth to a division that desperately needs it.
On the other hand, The Revival are one of the best tag teams on the scene. They’re an established duo that has operated like a well-oiled machine in WWE for years now. They are the definition of a tag team deserving of capturing gold at some point in their careers.
There’s no better point than now either, with a new year and “fresh start” promising a wave of change for hard-working competitors like Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson.
Personally, I can’t wait to see what could be in store for The Revival in 2019 if they become tag team champions. The sky will truly be the limit.
