A Brawl

This enraged, focused version of Seth Rollins brawled with Bobby Lashley, who was his opponent last week immediately after Triple H confronted him, and it seems like this rivalry isn’t over yet. Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins, and No Way Jose had to help officials pull apart Lashley and Rollins during this all-out brawl by the stage area.

The Champ Is Here

After getting owned by “The Man” last week on SmackDown Live, John Cena is here in Orlando, Florida, back on WWE Raw as the promotion heads on the “Road to WrestleMania”.

Cena brings up that Rollins is “fighting for his life”, because WrestleMania spots are on the line in these coming months. Of course, Cena knows what that’s like, seeing as how he lost opportunity after opportunity before falling to The Undertaker at ‘Mania 34 in 2018.

Invoking Willy Wonka, Cena calls the Royal Rumble match the “golden ticket” to WrestleMania, as the winner gets to fight in the main event of “The Show of Shows”. Joining the likes of Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, Cena officially entered himself in the Royal Rumble match on Jan. 27 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.

And guess who interrupted? None other than Drew McIntyre, who absolutely dismantled Dolph Ziggler before entering himself into the Rumble. McIntyre is among the favorites to win, and this confrontation is about to give us all chills.

He immediately went after Cena on the mic, saying that while he agrees Cena is the GOAT, he doesn’t give a “damn” about all the extra stuff. McIntyre says that he’s waited for this face-off for “years”, bringing up how he’s humiliated everyone else he’s come up against, including Ziggler, Kurt Angle, and the members of The Shield.

Now Lio Rush interrupts McIntyre and Cena, who are ready to fight, calling Rollins crazy. Rush yells that he is canceling Raw until something is done about Rollins, even threatening legal action, but Rollins quickly attacks both Rush and Lashley from behind.

Dean Ambrose decides to show up, and we have a full-on brawl with everyone throwing hands, including McIntyre and Ambrose working together on Cena.

Finn Balor’s music hits, and the pop was real. He starts flying around, taking guys out before the commercial break.

Grade: B, A fiery start to Raw that will likely set up a six-man tag match soon.
