WWE Royal Rumble 2019: Predicting The Women’s Final Four

Charlotte Flair

“The Queen” could be involved in a Triple Threat match in the main event of WrestleMania, joining Becky Lynch as a challenger to Ronda Rousey’s Raw Women’s Championship. This is a scenario that has been speculated for months, ever since Charlotte decided to tear Ronda apart with a kendo stick in a brutal post-match attack.

Charlotte isn’t nearly as popular as Becky right now, but she had an incredible 2018, putting together many of the best matches of the year, including a WrestleMania 34 match against Asuka and an all-time classic Last Woman Standing bout at Evolution against Becky.

Like Alexa Bliss, Charlotte will be competing in her first Royal Rumble match this year, and she also didn’t compete in either of the Battle Royals in 2018 at WrestleMania 34 or Evolution. So this is a huge spot for Charlotte, who always rises to the occasion in big matches.

The showdown between Becky and Charlotte at the end of the Rumble could be legendary, and if Becky inserts herself into the match and wins, eliminating Charlotte last, Flair could make the case that she is equally deserving of a title match in the main event of WrestleMania if Becky was never officially a part of the match.

Or WWE could do the Luger/Hart finish, where both Becky and Charlotte’s feet hit the ground at the same time, as a way of booking a Triple Threat title match against Ronda. Though, of course, it’s no guarantee that Ronda beats Sasha Banks in the Raw Women’s Championship match…

Regardless of how Sunday shakes out, I expect Charlotte to be in the final four, especially since this is her first WWE Royal Rumble and she’s always been someone that WWE trusts wholeheartedly.
