Dean Ambrose: What is his Road to WrestleMania 35?

facebooktwitterreddit

People all over the WWE Universe are in shock and suspicion as the WWE has confirmed that Dean Ambrose will not be renewing his contract come April. What a convenient time if you ask me.

Over the past few days, Dean Ambrose has been one of the most talked about WWE superstars in the company. The WWE recently released the news that Dean will not be renewing his contract with the company and will be moving on.

While many people are questioning what is next for Dean Ambrose, I believe it is right in front of our eyes. Dean Ambrose is playing a game with the WWE and the WWE Universe. On this past Monday’s Raw, Dean Ambrose started his Road to WrestleMania in a huge way and may have just missed it.

How, you ask? That game that Dean Ambrose is playing is no random game. This game is a specific type of game. This game is “The Game” himself, Triple H. What we saw this past Monday was something that I have been wanting to see for a very long time. Dean got right in Triple H’s face and I, for one, loved it

Ever since we saw Dean Ambrose and Triple H in the finals of the 2016 Royal Rumble, I have wanted to see a feud between these two. I believe if the WWE are indeed going to go down this route, they could have a great WrestleMania feud out of Ambrose and Triple H.

Ever since Dean turned heel, he has had a hard time fully settling in his role. Dean is such a perfect fit as a bad guy, but the WWE is trying too hard. It is time to ditch the gas mask and Bane jacket. It is time to see a bit of Jon Moxley take hold of Dean Ambrose. The true “Lunatic Fringe” versus “The Cerebral Assassin” is something I, and many fans, want to see.

More from WrestleMania

We have seen Triple H step in the ring with Dean’s former fellow Shield members Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns at the greatest show of all, WrestleMania. The only time we ever saw Dean get a shot was at Roadblock in a lackluster match.

While some may say that a match with Triple H at WrestleMania isn’t worth it. I believe this is a great place for Ambrose come WrestleMania. Dean needs something big to help him regain momentum. His recent Intercontinental Championship reign hasn’t helped his character. However, this might just be what Dean needs.

I would like to see the more vicious side of Dean Ambrose start being shown in his character. If there is anybody in the WWE that would be able to get just as vicious as Ambrose, it’s certainly Triple H. We have seen both of these men go through absolute hell in matches in the past. I believe Triple H would bring the best out of Ambrose and vice versa.

While I am not looking to see Ambrose go completely CZW, I would love to a see a Hell in a Cell match between the two. A clean victory over Triple H could do a great job at solidifying Dean’s position among his peers. Dean Ambrose could easily become the new “Cerebral Assassin” of this generation.

If the news is real and not part of an elaborate storyline, it will be a shame to see Dean leave the WWE. However, if this is his last feud, it would still be able to sell tickets. Hopefully, the news of Ambrose’s departure is all for the story. It has been done in the past against similar people if not the same but none of the above has been a lunatic.

I am excited to see the future of Dean Ambrose. He has been so underused over the years and this could be a big time for him if the WWE does things right. If Dean is out the door, I am still excited to see what is next in the career of the former Jon Moxley. I heard that Jimmy Havoc may be looking for a fight, but we will all have to wait and see.
