3. Seth Rollins

No superstar in the WWE has been as consistent over the past year or so as Seth Rollins, who has been taking part of arguably the best stretch of his career thus far.  The Architect has been burning it down every time he steps inside the ring and it has led to a massive opportunity on the grandest stage of them all.

Rollins won the 2019 men’s Royal Rumble match back in January to guarantee himself a championship opportunity at WrestleMania 35.  He wouldn’t take long to announce he would be challenging Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, who has been the champion since Crown Jewel after winning the title back after Roman Reigns had to relinquish it due to his battle with Leukemia.

These two have faced before, but this is a very different version of The Architect in recent months.  But by that same token, The Beast Incarnate could be at his most destructive currently.  Rollins has pointed out the issues Lesnar has had with smaller competitors in recent memory, but Paul Heyman quickly reminded Rollins that Lesnar still won those matches.  This angle will come to a head at WrestleMania 35, but there’s no denying who needs to win this match.

If the WWE is actually serious about changing for the better, Rollins will capture the Universal Championship from Lesnar.  It just has to be done to try and bring back any sort of relevance and prestige to an otherwise dilapidated title that has been nothing more than a prop for the better part of two years.  Rollins would be a fantastic champion and seems like the perfect person to take the title from Lesnar.

The time has come for the WWE to move past the Lesnar era, and that change should start at WrestleMania 35 with The Architect taking the reigns.
