8. Carmella

I’m a big fan of Carmella. I believe that her consistent, week-to-week background push has been a great source of entertainment whenever she’s been on screen. She was the first and second Ms. Money in the Bank. Unfortunately, she also has almost absolute zero chance of winning another briefcase.

Carmella doesn’t really have much going on right now and that’s not a bad thing; she’s had a very heavy schedule and could do with a break. Of course, a lack of focus could also result in a big sudden push, but Carmella vs Lynch and or Charlotte Flair has already been done to death.

It’s also very hard to work out whether Carmella is on the positive or negative side of the kayfabe spectrum, which makes things much harder to work out going forwards. I’m confident her win would get a good response if not for some much more popular and recognizable names and I don’t think she’d even get that much heel heat given that she is herself an increasingly popular figure in the company.

Carmella’s push is about over now but I doubt it’s going to take very long before her moment comes again.
