My Top 5

  1. AJ Styles
  2. Daniel Bryan
  3. Pete Dunne
  4. Charlotte Flair
  5. Kevin Owens

A.J. Styles is the Phenomenal One for a reason. The Man is not only the best wrestler in WWE, but he is in heavy contention to be the best wrestler in the world. Looking at all the attributes Styles has makes this decision understandably justified. His character work is on point, and he has excelled as a face and as a heel, as a singles contender and as a group member/leader. He can hold himself on the microphone, and his acting ability is strong enough to sell rivals. His moveset is probably one of the most diverse I can recollect in my years of watching wrestling. Let’s see what he can do: his technical wrestling is on solid; his ground game is on point, which he also showcased submission skills; and he is still extremely agile, which is showcased in his springboard and diving moves.

Daniel Bryan is one of the greatest wrestlers in our time and not acknowledging that is a serious mistake. His ability to connect with the crowd and work them against him is beautiful to watch, solidified by his incredible character work and promo skills. The moveset Bryan boast is beautiful to watch, with a heavy focus on technical and submission moves. The “Yes/No/Lebell” Lock is a vicious submission that is welcomed in the ring, and the Running Knee is suitable as a secondary finisher. His recent character reinvention as the “New” Daniel Bryan has been brilliant and shows that he can keep it fresh between matches.

Pete Dunne is amazing. The Bruiserweight demanded my attention during the UK Championship Tournament, and he hasn’t let go of it since. He was great as a determined, do-anything-to-win heel during the tournament, and he won over the audience overtime due to his undeniable talent.

The Bruiserweight character is hard hitting, ultra-aggressive, and sadistic. Just think about his manipulation of the fingers during submissions and brutal strikes throughout the match. When he finally won against Tyler Bate, the crowd was solely behind him, forcing a 685 day title reign, where he progressed into a face running through every challenger he faced.

Charlotte Flair is really the total package. She is extremely talented between the ropes, can work the microphone, showcased good character work, and lives up all the achievements she’s accomplished in WWE. Her ring work encompasses so many dimensions, with the great technical moves and sequences, the array of strikes from the patented Flair chops to the devastating Big Boot, and a great moveset that displays her physical ability.

Think of her stand out moves: a moonsault, which is a thing of beauty; Nature selection, which is a running cutter proceeding by a flip; the pin she uses called Charlotte’s Web, where she trips the opponent and bridges over them to lock in the pinfall; and, of course, the Figure Eight. She is the most talented women’s wrestler that has entered the promotion.

Next. WWE: Kofi vs Joe absolutely should be a Ladder Match. dark

Kevin Owens is an amazing competitor that is being hampered by terrible booking. I would go and list all the reasons why he is in my top 5, but I already did that in my article about him being the best heel in the company. Hands down, he has the best in-ring psychology in the promotion and an unbelievably diverse moveset. Fight Owens Fight. .
