1. Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch

The real-life relationship between Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch has been brought to the fictional, storyline world of the WWE as of late.  That relationship will be used in one of Extreme Rules’ biggest matches when a mixed tag team match will determine which two Superstars walk away with championship gold around their waist.

Rollins successfully defended his Universal Championship at Stomping Grounds against Baron Corbin thanks, in large part, because of Lynch taking Lacey Evans out of the equation as special guest referee, who The Man defeated to retain her Raw Women’s Championship earlier in the night.  Extreme Rules will see the best of both worlds when Rollins and Lynch take on Corbin and Evans in a mixed tag team match that will be contested under Extreme Rules.

But the caveat is whichever team gets the win will walk away with both the Universal and Raw Women’s Championships.  Evans could pin Lynch and not only would that make her the new Raw Women’s Champion, but it would also give Corbin the Universal Championship.  The stakes are high for The Architect and The Man, but this still feels like a no-brainer as to which team will come out on top.

Lynch and Rollins need to win this match, there’s no other way around it.  Corbin is nowhere close to the Universal Champion level and Evans has yet to win a marquee match on the main roster, so it would feel a bit odd for her to win as well.  Rollins and Lynch have so much more they can do with their titles as well with SummerSlam looming in August.

It’s been a decent little feud so far, but it needs to come to an end at Extreme Rules with The Architect and The Man walking out with championship gold still in hand.
