WWE 2K20: The Fiend, FrankenStrowman, and more highlight first DLC
WWE 2K20 won’t be released until October 22, 2019, but we’ve already got details about the first exciting DLC pack which will come free if you pre-order the game.
WWE 2K20 will be released in just over two months, and we’ve been given yet another taste of the new things the game will introduce. WWE 2K20 has already changed the game by introducing the Four Horsewomen showcase and making Becky Lynch one of the two cover stars.
The first DLC pack will be part of the WWE 2K20 Originals series, which will include four different DLC packs “each based around a different theme and all-new fictional realm.” All four are expected to be released by spring of 2020.
The first one, WWE 2K20 Originals: Bump in the Night, will be available as a pre-order bonus, can be purchased individually, and is included in the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. This horror-themed DLC is highlighted by “The Fiend,” the new alter-ego of Bray Wyatt, but there is a plethora of other fun content included.

WWE 2K20 this year seems to be channeling a level of creativity and fun that WWE games haven’t seen in some time, and that’s definitely a good sign. This could be shaping up to be one of the most entertaining WWE games in recent memory.
There will be a WWE 2K20 Backstage Pass available for $29.99, which would include WWE 2K20 Originals, but only packs 2, 3, and 4. WWE 2K20 Originals: Bump in the Night, and each future pack, are available for $14.99 each.
For the frugal fan who wants access to the most content, the best “bang for your buck” is the WWE 2K20 Deluxe Edition. For $89.99, you’ll get all of the WWE 2K20 Originals, SmackDown 20th Anniversary Edition Digital Content, WWE 2K20 Accelerator, WWE 2K20 MyPLAYER Kickstart, and WWE SuperCard Limited Edition Cards.
By contrast, if you buy only the standard game for $59.99, you’ll equal the cost of the Deluxe Edition by later purchasing two individual WWE 2K20 Originals or the Backstage Pass. Whatever way you decide to enjoy WWE 2K20, this horror-themed DLC is already a highlight of the game two whole months before it has been released.
