Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair (SmackDown Women’s Championship)

Bayley retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ember Moon at SummerSlam in a spectacular match, and will most likely have her eyes on new challengers for Clash of Champions.

Since Charlotte Flair always gets title opportunities, Bayley has avoided her as a contender for her championship in order to give other superstars in the SmackDown Women’s division a chance.

However, Charlotte has been very dominant lately in her grudge matches. She defeated the legendary Trish Stratus at SummerSlam, and defeated Ember Moon on SmackDown Live last week.

These victories warrant distinguished consideration for a title match. With Clash of Champions being in Charlotte’s hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina, this could very well be Charlotte’s opportunity to finally get her hands on Bayley and the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Considering that Bayley cashed in her MITB Briefcase to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Charlotte Flair at MITB 2019, this match is bound to be electrifying.

If this match were to occur, Bayley should retain her SmackDown Women’s Championship to: (1) continue her preeminent reign, (2) humiliate Charlotte in her hometown like Alexa Bliss did to her at Payback 2017 in San Jose, California and (3) set up a triple threat match with Charlotte Flair and Ember Moon, the two superstar she defeated consecutively, at Hell in a Cell in October.

Prediction: Bayley

Becky Lynch (c) vs. Sasha Banks (Raw Women’s Championship)

After Becky Lynch retained her Raw Women’s Championship against Natalya at SummerSlam in a submission match, the Raw after SummerSlam witnessed the return of one of the most illustrious superstars in the WWE, Sasha Banks.

Not only did she return, but she also turned heel on both Natalya and Becky Lynch.

Her return and heel turn has the entire WWE universe buzzing, and brought a plenitude of eyes to WWE television. It is clear that Sasha’s main target is Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, and they are bound to revisit their NXT rivalry and go to war at Clash of Champions for the championship.

If this match were to happen, Sasha Banks should become the new Raw Women’s Champion and have a lengthy reign like her former tag team partner, Bayley, is having as SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Considering that the deserving Banks and Bayley did not achieve their WrestleMania moment together, they should at least excel in their own separate paths until they meet again (i.e. Survivor Series).

Prediction: Sasha Banks
