Kenny Omega Vs PAC

The AEW All Out crowd was expecting to see a one on one battle for the ages. One end of the ring, Kenny Omega. A man who is considered to be among if not ‘The’ best wrestler(s) on the planet. His opponent was scheduled to be Jon Moxley, a man with a rejuvenated career since his shocking arrival on AEW soil.

Jon Moxley took to Twitter and announced that he has MRSA in one of his elbows. Due to the condition, he is unable to compete in Chicago at All Out. It was a shock to say the least and the question immediately posed was “Who will Kenny Omega wrestle in Chicago?” If he would compete at all?

30 minutes later, it was announced that British superstar PAC would reemerge in All Elite Wrestling and challenge Kenny Omega. You’re not going to make a larger splash than that, especially if you were to go through the AEW roster and pluck an opponent out of the sky to wrestle Kenny on short notice.

The Oemga-Jon Moxley bout will have to be put on hold. It is one of, if not the biggest dream match that can easily be made under a given promotion’s umbrella. While this is being put on the back-burner, you now have another dream match immediately tossed in. It is one that will arguably have a better in ring performance from both men involved.

While it doesn’t have the heated back story to accompany it like Moxley-Omega did, you have 2 of the best wrestlers on the planet competing in the ring on pay per view. That is indeed crowd pleasing. Will PAC pick up where he left off after being taken off of the Double Or Nothing card due to contract squabbles? Or will Omega pick up a much needed singles victory on his path to claiming the AEW World championship after losing to Chris Jericho?

Both men have equal chances of earning the W on this night. I have a feeling that the winner of this bout will instantly place himself at the front of the line to square off against the winner of the main event. The man who will come out on top this given night will be.

Winner: Kenny Omega
