WWE: 4 Superstars that should be drafted to a new brand
Bianca Belair – NXT to RAW
The RAW women’s division is in a weird space. It doesn’t lack talent, but aside from the 4 Horsewomen, it lacks singles stars.
The Lacey Evans experience didn’t work. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross are Women’s Tag Team Champions. Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Becky Lynch have the top of that division sewn up.
In the match that she had vs. Shayna Baszler at TakeOver: Phoenix, Belair showed that she can have great matches on the biggest NXT stage. In her promos and the character nuances, Belair has shown she can captivate an audience.
Natalya, Naomi, and Sarah Logan all know how to advance other wrestlers careers. Inserting Belair into a feud with any of these three wrestlers will help with the character development needed to solidify Belair. The experience that Belair doesn’t have as a wrestler, she can learn at a rapid pace being in the ring with those three.
Waiting any longer to bring Belair to the RAW roster could possibly have why I’d like to call the “Aleister Black effect” where fans know the wrestler is ready to be on either RAW or SmackDown, but they’re on NXT a few months too long.
She has shown flashes of the talent that can make her a main event caliber wrestler. Those flashes have to become her consistency. She has to be portrayed as the future. RAW has the wrestlers to help her get there.
Now is the time to bring Belair to RAW and show a national stage what she can do.
