1. Sasha Banks

Not many women’s superstars have been as important on the landscape of the women’s evolution in the WWE than Sasha Banks. The Boss has been involved in some of the biggest moments of the women’s evolution, but that is why she has been so resentful in kayfabe terms since her shocking return after SummerSlam.

Banks’ return and subsequent heel turn at the hands of Natalya and Becky Lynch shocked the WWE universe, but she has kept that momentum rolling since with promos that have stated her feelings and reasoning behind her actions and, of course, her friendship with Bayley that has also turned Bayley heel in the process.

The Boss was bitter about Lynch getting all the attention and the main event spot at WrestleMania 35. But at Clash of Champions, Banks will have the chance to prove it should have been her main-eventing WrestleMania when she challenges The Man for the Raw Women’s Championship on Sunday.

Lynch has been the Raw Women’s Champion since WrestleMania, and has turned back challenge after challenge, but no challenge will be quite like what this new-look version of The Boss will bring.

For as fantastic as Lynch has been over the past year during her current title run, all great things must come to an end eventually. So, why not have the end of her title reign come courtesy of Banks?

She could do wonders for the Raw Women’s Championship, and women’s division just as The Man has done. This heel version of The Boss deserves a shot at championship gold, and a chance to show what she’s capable of as a heel.

Striking while the iron is hot is crucial in pro wrestling, so putting the Raw Women’s Championship around the waist of The Boss at Clash of Champions feels like the right move, even if it’s a bit premature.
