NXT: Hallelujah! The Undisputed Era prophecy has been fulfilled!

The Undisputed Era has fulfilled their prophecy in NXT, and it’s time for us all to recognize how lucky we are to live in their world.

I told you so. I told you all. The last time I came out here, I told you that we were lucky to witness history within NXT. The prophecy was two steps away, and I told everyone here that they should pay close attention because something great was going to happen.

I was right.

The most decorated tag team in NXT history, a group of men that are technically, and competitively unmatched, regained what was rightfully theirs. When Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish step into the squared circle, the quality of whoever they are facing is immediately elevated.

The Street Profits had to bring out their best. They were forced to bring their A-game, but, let me tell you, there is no shame in defeat against one of the greatest tag teams in the black and gold brand. They are your NXT Tag Team Champions, and, God, it is so good.

Which brings me to a story. Let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, about a young boy that had a dream.

From a trailer park in Riverview, Florida. From a troubled family afflicted by drugs and alcoholism, where he had to be strong and take care of himself, this man found stability and happiness by wrestling and entertaining people like you. This man was born to do this, and he has finally gotten the respect he rightfully deserved all the way back when he wrestling in a makeshift backyard ring.

This son, this husband, this father– (tears up). Excuse me.

This professional wrestler did the same thing he has always done, which is come out for you people and deliver a wrestling classic, a clinic showcasing such stupendous skill. One dream was ended last Wednesday, and the spotlight shifted to the dream we needed to see come to reality. Last Wednesday, on the first live showing of NXT, Roderick Strong was finally, FINALLY, draped in gold. He is your NEW NXT North American Champion.

So here we stand in the history books of NXT, witnessing true greatness. An NXT champion with the talent and looks to steal any show he is on.

The Panama City Playboy. Adam Cole (BAYBAY). A man that has proven time and time again that not only he is the present for the black and gold brand, but the future of one of the hottest wrestling products in the history of this industry. He is flanked by a pair of tenacious technicians and a true American hero.

This is greatness, and The Undisputed Era is a stable that has cemented itself on WWE’s Mount Rushmore. Since the days of the degenerates and horsemen, we never thought this was possible again. But this is why we believe in magic, something that seems impossible to happen until it is revealed to us.

On that Wednesday night, in front of 1.2 million watchful eyes on the USA Network, the prophecy that was promised to us was fulfilled. How lucky we are. How humbled I am.

Not since I was a young boy watching titans fight on my television screens was I so glued and in awe to see such talent grace my screen. So buy your armbands, choose your favorite shirt, and perfect your Us and Es, because when the system is shocked yet again and that guitar hits, revel in the glory history will record yet again.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is Undisputed.
