4. Lacey Evans Defeats Natalya

Speaking of prime NXT candidates to succeed on Raw and SmackDown, Lacey Evans has been taunting Natalya each week by making her opponents (i.e. Ember Moon last week on Raw) tap out with Natalya’s signature submission maneuver, the Sharpshooter.

Since both superstars recently lost their championship matches against Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch in recent PPV events, WWE apparently decided to pit them against each other.

However, Lacey Evans has never made Natalya tap out with the Sharpshooter, and that could be the outcome on the Raw Season Premiere. She defeated Natalya four weeks ago on Raw with the Women’s Right, while Natalya got payback the following week by making Evans tap out with the Sharpshooter.

This potential match-up between them on the Raw Premiere could complete their trilogy, as well as culminate their feud. Although this match will most likely not occur at Hell in a Cell, it will be a good sign of things to come for the upcoming draft in October as these two superstars aim to be top draft picks.

With Lacey Evans being the up-and-comer and Natalya being the well known and respected veteran, expect Lacey Evans to win this match and get pushed for future opportunities in the women’s division.

For now, just keep those eyes peeled for that ‘nasty’ sharpshooter Natalya hates so much.
