AEW Tag Team Division Power Rankings

Honorable Mention: Jurassic Express (0-1-0) and SCU (0-2-0)

Our two tag team honorable mentions go out to winless teams that have still maintained momentum. We saw SCU on this episode of AEW Dynamite, and they’ve been consistent fixtures of every event in some form. Jurassic Express was sadly absent, but there’s real excitement for their championship tournament opener against Lucha Brothers.

5. Private Party (1-1-0)

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, collectively known as Private Party, are one and one in tag team action. Despite a Triple Threat loss to Best Friends on the pre-show for Fyter Fest, they had an impressive victory on the All Out pre-show against Angelico and Jack Evans. They’ve got their eyes on The Young Bucks, a tough first-round draw for the less-experienced Private Party.

4. The Young Bucks (2-1-0)

Surprisingly low on the totem pole despite two strong tag team victories are The Young Bucks. Things started off right for Matt and Nick Jackson as they defeated Lucha Brothers at Double or Nothing.

They followed that with a win over Cody and Dustin Rhodes at Fight for the Fallen, but came up short against Lucha Brothers at All Out. Add to that being dominated on AEW Dynamite, and The Young Bucks sneak in at number four.

3. Best Friends (2-1-0)

Much like The Young Bucks, the duo of Chuck Taylor and Trent started their AEW time on the right foot. They toppled Angelico and Jack Evans at Double or Nothing before securing an impressive Triple Threat win at Fyter Fest over SCU and Private Party.

Unfortunately, their momentum was halted by The Dark Order at AEW All Out. They squeak ahead of The Young Bucks just because the Jacksons took so much damage at the end of AEW Dynamite.

2. Lucha Brothers (2-1-0)

Just shy of top position are Pentagon and Fenix, collectively known as Lucha Brothers. They had a tough start by taking a loss to The Young Bucks at Double or Nothing, but have thoroughly bounced back.

They defeated SCU at Fight for the Fallen and followed it with a huge victory over The Young Bucks at All Out. Lucha Brothers were also present on AEW Dynamite, making their presence felt before the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament kicks off this week.

1. The Dark Order (2-0-0)

Finally, at the top of our AEW Tag Team Division Power Rankings are none other than The Dark Order. This all started at Double or Nothing, where they ambushed Best Friends after the team’s victory over Angelico and Jack Evans.

They went on to snag a dominant victory over Angelico and Evans as well as Jurassic Express at Fight for the Fallen. Finally, they defeated Best Friends at All Out to earn a first-round bye in the AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament. The Dark Order seem almost untouchable right now, and they’re firmly in control of the division so far.
