AEW Tag Team Division Power Rankings

Honorable Mention: SCU (0-2-0) [Last Week: Honorable Mention] and The Hybrid2 (0-3-0) [Last Week: Unranked]

SCU remains an honorable mention this week after picking up a trios victory on AEW Dark with their eyes set on their upcoming first-round match in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament. The Hybrid2 have eaten quite a few losses but bounced back on AEW Dark by teaming with Lucha Brothers to defeat Best Friends and Private Party.

More from All Elite Wrestling

5. The Young Bucks (2-2-0) [Last Week: 4]

The veterans and co-Executive Vice Presidents of All Elite Wrestling slip nearly off the rankings this week as they failed to advance in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament. Despite a spectacular performance, The Young Bucks came up short against Private Party and slip down to number five.

4. Best Friends (2-1-0) [Last week: 3]

Best Friends tried to build some momentum on AEW Dark by teaming with Private Party, but the quartet came up short against Lucha Brothers and The Hybrid2. That loss knocks Best Friends down a hair as someone else pushes forward.

3. Private Party (2-1-0) [Last Week: 5]

The biggest jump in the Tag Team Division comes in the form of Private Party, who scored the biggest win of their career on Dynamite. In a first-round match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament, Private Party upset The Young Bucks to advance to the semifinals and get one step closer to being the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions.

2. Lucha Brothers (2-1-0) [Last Week: 2]

As they prepare for next week’s first-round match against Jurassic Express, Lucha Brothers teamed with The Hybrid2 on AEW Dark to take on Best Friends and Private Party. The Hybrid2 had struggled to pick up a win in so far, but that didn’t hinder Lucha Brothers at all who led their team to victory and now turn their focus to Jurassic Express.

Despite flying under the radar the last few weeks, The Dark Order is still in prime position atop the Tag Team Division. They still hold a first-round bye in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament and can rest up before they take on either Best Friends or SCU in the tournament semifinals on October 23.
