PAC (2-0) & Jon Moxley (1-0) vs. Hangman Page & Kenny Omega (2-3)

Moxley cut a promo during the ad break talking about how AEW needed to pay the bills with one, but he was here to fight, and the crowd popped huge for it. Omega came out and the crowd chanted “Happy Birthday” at him, as it was his birthday today. Moxley and Omega started the match in the ring, with Page and PAC brawling

PAC tagged himself in and sent Page to the floor and started to work over PAC. PAC ran into the corner but Omega caught him with a big boot and the Krusher. Omega chased Mox off the apron and PAC pushed him to the corner, so Mox tagged in and started to work over Omega. Moxley pulled Omega’s hair and then hit a kitchen sink on Omega. Omega hit a vertical suplex and tagged out to page who ran wild and hit a tope on PAC.

Page hit a flying clothesline on Moxley for a 2 count, and went for Deadeye, but Moxley countered and ate a big boot instead. Page went for a moonsault to the floor, but PAC distracted Page and Moxley sent him flipping off the top rope onto the apron. PAC hit a corkscrew splash on Page on the floor. PAC took Omega around ringside sending him into the guardrails while Moxley worked over Hangman.

Page and PAC kept looking at each other with dislike, but they continued to team well as they hit a double suplex on Page. Page hit a spinning back kick on Page and tagged out to Mox as Mox hit a sliding D for a near fall. Mox locked on a Texas Cloverleaf right in the middle of the ring. Omega ran into the ring and just started beating on Mox, but PAC pushed him out of the ring.

Hangman hit three lariats on Mox and dropped him, making the hot tag to Omega while Mox tagged out to PAC. Omega hit You Can’t Escape on PAC and got a near fall with the moonsault. Moxley ran at Omega, but Omega ducked down and a snap dragon suplex. He hit one on PAC, and then another on Moxley. It seems that the old Kenny Omega is back as hit Rise of the Terminator on PAC on the floor.

Moxley hit a suicide dive of his own, but Hangman Page hit a moonsault to the floor on PAC and Mox as both Elite members were able to hit some tandem offence on PAC. Omega hit a spine buster bomb on PAC while Page followed with a shooting star press, and Moxley hit a drop kick to break up the pinfall attempt. Omega killed Moxley with a V-Trigger after Mox hit a Bossman slam on Page. PAC destroyed Omega with a Cutter, but Page cut him off and hit a suicide dive on PAC.

Omega and Moxley were left in the ring and they started brawling to a great pop from the crowd. Omega blocked a lariat with his foot and then killed Moxley with a V-Trigger. Moxley killed Omega with a lariat and both men were down. Both rolled to the outside and Omega grabbed his barbed wire broom while Moxley brought out the barbed wire baseball bat.

They chased the referee to the floor and PAC came in and threw the weapons to ringside, saying he didn’t want to be DQ’d. Moxley responded by hitting PAC with a double arm DDT and as he stood up, Page killed him with a Buckshot Lariat and then Omega hit a V-Trigger. Page hit the Deadeye on PAC and got the pinfall victory.

Result: Hangman Page & Kenny Omega

Rating **** (4 stars)

Fantastic tag match that told the right story and protected PAC with his loss, as he was betrayed by his tag team partner, and Page got a big, much needed win. PAC begged off from Page and Omega and left the ring.
