Cameron Grimes vs. Tyler Bate

Tyler Bate made the trip across the pond last week and that only means good things for NXT’s American following. The inaugural United Kingdom champion had a front-row seat for a tremendous clash between Matt Riddle and Cameron Grimes and after Riddle picked up the win, the action just so happened to play out right in front of Bate.

As Grimes was recovering from the Bro Gerrick that put him down for the three-count, Riddle came over to give him a fist bump as a sign of good sportsmanship. After Grimes waved him off, Bate was miffed that he turned down a fist bump from the Original Bro. Grimes shoved Bate, Bate bop-banged Grimes in the face and because this is pro wrestling, now they’re going to fight.

This is a matchup I’m really looking forward to on this episode. Grimes has been really impressive since finishing as the runner-up in the NXT Breakout Superstar Tournament and Bate is always good for a couple amazing feats of strength. Both guys could use a win here, but after a flipping a coin, I think they start to build Grimes up as a solid mid-card heel.

Prediction: Cameron Grimes via pinfall
