WWE 2K20 has seen an influx of AEW wrestlers in their Community Creations, but which ones have been most popular?

WWE 2K20 has been out for almost two weeks now, and it’s clear that players of the game are also fans of All Elite Wrestling. Several AEW stars are amongst the game’s most downloaded community creations.

In WWE 2K20, players are able to create custom wrestlers from appearance to moveset to entrance, but they also have the option of uploading them to a Community Creations dashboard. From there, other fans and players can then download these Community Creations.

Each year, Community Creations sees an influx of independent wrestlers, alternate attires for beloved WWE stars, various arenas, and WWE superstars who didn’t quite get into the game. Last year, one of the most popular and most downloaded Community Creations was Tommaso Ciampa, who narrowly missed being in WWE 2K19.

This year, the top of the list is occupied by a few WWE creations. There’s an attempt to recreate the new WWE Raw arena, Baron Corbin in his King Corbin attire, and a 1997 version of Kane.

There are also several versions of The Fiend in Community Creations, which is interesting since that version of Bray Wyatt is technically only available with the Bump in the Night Downloadable Content. Players can find The Fiend in Community Creations and enjoy a version of the character without owning the DLC.

Several of the top Community Creations are from AEW, including the AEW Arena which is currently the second most downloaded content available. Following that arena, there are ten different AEW superstars seeing a high volume of downloads.

Most Downloaded AEW Wrestlers in WWE 2K20 Community Creations

  1. PAC
  2. Chris Jericho
  3. Jon Moxley
  4. Darby Allin
  5. Kenny Omega
  6. Pentagon Jr.
  7. MJF
  8. Orange Cassidy
  9. Jungle Boy
  10. Cody Rhodes

These are in order of how often each has been downloaded via WWE 2K20 Community Creations. It’s no surprise that AEW World Champion and WWE veteran Chris Jericho is high on the list, but it’s interesting he’s actually been beaten out here by PAC.

No AEW wrestler has been as downloaded as PAC, who used to rule the WWE cruiserweight division as Neville. The player-created model for Jon Moxley isn’t even that well crafted, but the demand for him is so high that he’s still in the top three of this category.

Darby Allin’s ability to connect to the fans is clear, as even in my own experience my roommate has chosen to play as Darby Allin in matches instead of one of the characters actually programmed into the game. Cody Rhodes is surprisingly low by comparison, as he’s definitely one of the most over talents in wrestling today.

These rankings could fluctuate over time as more Community Creations join the fray and higher quality versions start to overtake the first-created versions. Despite the game’s flaws, it hasn’t stopped content creators and die-hards of WWE 2K games from continuing to create their favorite non-WWE wrestlers in WWE 2K20.
