AEW Full Gear will be live and in living color this Saturday night from Baltimore, Maryland. The card for Full Gear is loaded, and has hype behind it since AEW Dynamite made its debut in early October. I’m guessing you’d like some bold predictions about the night wouldn’t you?

Before we dive into those, let’s analyze some of the matches on the card for AEW Full Gear. The Dr. Britt Baker will be facing off with Bea Priestly as the only bout announced on The Buy In portion.

While it was just announced on Tuesday, the contest is sure to be a thriller.

These 2 have been feuding since AEW Fight For The Fallen in July. To add fuel to the fire, Priestly eliminated Baker in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale to determine who would earn the right to face Riho for the inaugural AEW women’s championship.

We have 2 tag team contests that are sure to electrify the crowd. SCU will defend their newly won AEW tag team championships in a triple threat match. Their opponents will be The Lucha Bros and Private Party.

In the other tag bout, The Young Bucks will square off in a grudge match of sorts with Proud ‘N’ Powerful.

The lone women’s match on the main card, Riho will defend her AEW women’s title against Emi Sakura. Sakura recently won a four-way bout to earn the right to challenge Riho on the card at Full Gear.

The champion is looking to continue to build upon her spotless record and retain the women’s championship.

The remaining 4 singles matches are going to be barn-burners. A recently added match on the card will pit Shawn Spears going one on one with Joey Janela.

While there isn’t much of a back story, these 2 men are going to beat the tar out of one another.

Hangman Page will be wrestling PAC in a bout that has a long back story, dating back to the 1st AEW rally in Jacksonville, Florida.

The long-awaited Kenny Omega vs Jon Moxley match, which was supposed to take place at All Out in August, will finally appear on Full Gear.

Moxley had to withdraw due to MRSA in his elbow, this allowed the 2 men to build up an unreal amount of hype for this contest. They’ve added barbed wire bats, brooms, suplexes through glass tables and thrilling promos.

The cherry on top is this match will now be an unsanctioned, lights out bout. Expect everything and the kitchen sink to be thrown at you in this match.

The main event will be for the AEW World championship. Le Champion Chris Jericho will defend the AEW title against Cody Rhodes. These 2 have teased this bout since April in the build up to the original AEW pay per view, Double Or Nothing. The high stakes of a championship contest are there, add 3 judges to ringside in case of a 60 minute draw and the drama heightens.

Both Cody and Jericho have put on some of the most scintillating promos we’ve seen in 2019 to enhance the magnitude of this AEW world championship match.

Now that we touched on the card, let’s get to my 5 bold predictions for AEW Full Gear. Some you may not find too bold, others will downright shock you.
