The former Jordan Myles, days after taking up his first post-WWE wrestling date, has vowed to walk away from the industry entirely.

As most readers are familiar with by now, ACH (fka Jordan Myles) recently publicly quit the WWE over a t-shirt released in his name that resembled blackface. His release was granted shortly afterwards. He has since quickly returned to the independent circuit under his original wrestling moniker. The other night, he returned to MLW to compete as part of their Opera Cup event.

ACH was already announced to make an appearance at MLW’s Zero Hour event on Jan. 11, but it looks like he may not make it to that event. Or any wrestling show going forward, for that matter.

In a recent string of tweets he posted this morning, ACH appears to have fallen out of love with his profession. “I hate pro wrestling,” he starts off by pontificating his disdain for both fans who criticize his actions from behind a keyboard (opposed to his face) and “snakes” in the industry.

He then adds that he will be cancelling the rest of his shows and quitting the wrestling business altogether.

“Chasing my dream was great, but you self entitled p***ks ruin EVERYTHING,” he adds in a follow-up tweet reply. “I’m out.”

Perhaps what makes this announcement all the more bittersweet is knowing that ACH has made it on his 32nd birthday today.

Whether you agree with how he exited WWE or not, it is hard not to feel a little bit of sympathy for ACH and his situation at the moment. He worked hard on the indies and in NJPW for years, got his dream job with WWE and felt forced to walk away from it.

Now, even after leaving the job that no longer brought him joy, he’s felt harassed by enough troll comments to feel like leaving the industry altogether was the best option for him. It’s all unfortunate, really, and I genuinely hope that ACH is okay and can find happiness elsewhere.
