Impact Wrestling No Surrender 2019: Full card preview and predictions
Rosemary vs. Madison Rayne
After a long absence from the Impact Zone, Rosemary returned back in August to save Jordynne Grace from being attacked by Kiera Hogan and Madison Rayne. While Rayne and Rosemary never directly feuded afterwards, they did feature on opposite teams in a handful of six woman tag team matches since then, often with Rosemary’s team coming out victorious.
However, this will be the very first time Rosemary and Rayne have gone one-on-one. Presumably, since Rosemary is interlocked in a storyline right now (one with Suzie/Su Yung and Father James Mitchell) and Rayne isn’t in any story, The Demon Assassin seems most likely to pick up the win.
Prediction: Rosemary
Michael Elgin vs. Larry D
Not too much to say about this one. Larry D – despite a character spanning 15 years – has never so much as stepped foot in Impact Wrestling before tonight, yet alone is feuding with Michael Elgin. Elgin himself has vowed to hurt people in his quest to get back in the World Title picture. While D might not get “hurt,” don’t expect an upset here.
Prediction: Elgin
oVe (Dave and Jake Crist) vs. The Rascalz (Wentz and Dez) vs. Desi Hit Squad (Mahabali Shera and Rohit Raju)
While there are no storyline implications here, this one genuinely could be a show stealer. Not just because everyone involved makes for an incredible team and this could make for fun action, but this could go either way.
Rascalz have a shot at winning. oVe could get the hometown win. Even Desi Hit Squad have a shot at winning. Despite usually being the fall guys, Shera himself has been strongly protected, so since he’s part of the two-thirds of the team competing tonight, he could pick up a win for his team.
Tough call all around, so I’ll just take a shot in the dark and say Rascalz win.
Prediction: Rascalz
Brian Cage vs. Willie Mack vs. Acey Romero vs. Moose vs. Madman Fulton
There’s a lot of beef in this ring. Lord knows I love me some beef.
Another inconsequential, non-storyline match for fun, but I expect Moose to win this one, just so he can continue his streak as the self-proclaimed greatest athlete in the history of sports. For all the basketball and tennis games he keeps winning, it’s time for him to pick up an in-ring win again.
Prediction: Moose
