1. The Miz Should Defeat Bray Wyatt At TLC

As of this writing, the only thing that has been announced for this match is that it is The Miz going up against Bray Wyatt (not The Fiend) in a nontitle match at TLC. If something changes where the Universal Championship is on the line or The Miz is facing The Fiend instead, then I take back everything I’m about to say.

So, on SmackDown, it was revealed that Daniel Bryan has not been seen since The Fiend dragged him under the ring and started ripping out his hair. So, Bray invited The Miz to “play” with him at TLC instead.

Bray teased a flashback to the old Wyatt Family (with Daniel Bryan), but The Miz was not interested in the match until Bray got The Miz’s family involved by holding up a family portrait. Later on in the night, The Miz found a picture where Bray was photoshopped in place of Miz in his family portrait, then Bray attacked The Miz from behind.

It makes sense that Bray, rather than The Fiend, attacked The Miz because they have no history. Bray often says “The Fiend never forgets” which is why he has gone after Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Daniel Bryan. These are all men that have wronged Bray Wyatt, so The Fiend went to collect his debts.

The Fiend has no ill will towards The Miz, but Bray does. The Miz has a loyal and loving family, something Bray has never gotten, yet it is all he wants. Bray tried to make Orton, Bryan, Harper, Rowan, and Strowman all part of his Wyatt Family, but all of them eventually turned their backs on him. Even his own puppets like Rambling Rabbit try to escape from his “family” in the Firefly Funhouse.

So, this is uncharted territory where, Funhouse Bray will be competing in a match rather than The Fiend. We saw before, when Seth broke into the Firefly Funhouse, he was easily able to beat down Bray because Bray did not want to fight. However, in this case, Bray instigated the violence with The Miz by hitting him with a Sister Abigail out of nowhere. So, it will be interesting to see how strong this character is in the ring.

Right now, they are just scratching the surface with this feud. There are so many elements involved like The Miz’s family, the Firefly Funhouse, Funhouse Bray, Daniel Bryan, The Wyatt Family, and more that it would be impossible to really tell this story and have it end at TLC.

If Bray beats The Miz at TLC, that would be the end of the feud. However, if The Miz defeats Bray, Wyatt can call upon The Fiend and extend the feud through the Royal Rumble. This would also build more anticipation for a Daniel Bryan return where he could potentially save The Miz from The Fiend or join Bray Wyatt’s new family.

Also, ever since The Miz turned face, he has lost to Shane McMahon multiple times and lost to Shinsuke and other heels. To keep him credible as a main eventer, a win over the Universal Champion would be able to nullify all of those losses.

So, in the world of sports entertainment, it is okay to have a little bit more of the entertainment rather than the sports. Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but these are just my Hot Takes.
