4. Private Party

Sure, Private Party used the AEW tag team tournament to springboard plancha themselves near the top of the rankings. That said, there’s so much more we still haven’t seen from the New York-born duo.

Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen were the highlights of the first few episodes of AEW Dynamite. Tearing the house down backed by some of the hottest crowds we’ve seen since the Attitude/nWo eras. Gin & Juice is one of my personal favorite AEW finishers and feels like it’s coming straight out of a an AKI video game.

Innovative tandem offense, charisma, and unbearable screeching mid-match. You name it, they have it. With 2020 just around the corner, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Private Party in the title picture within the next six months.

With Scorpio Sky finishing his short-lived program with Chris Jericho his quest for the AEW World Championship comes to an inevitable end, SCU are ready to take on all challengers and Private Party are definite contenders for the snake-skin straps.

Whether they’re having a high-intensity match against the Lucha Bros or produce more high spots in a rematch with the Young Bucks, Kassidy and Quen are bound to turn more heads next year.
