WWE delivered some of the best tag team action in all of wrestling over this past decade so let’s honor it by praising the five best teams of the 2010’s as 2019 quickly comes to a close.

But first, some honorable mentions for some tag teams that didn’t make the final five, but nonetheless had an impact in WWE …

Honorable Mentions

The Hardy Boyz – While their most recent and final run with WWE as a tag team hasn’t been as impactful as their run in other promotions this past decade, the fact they maintained their relevance after all of these years is a win in itself. Not to mention they had an unforgettable Mania return packed with two more title wins.

The Bar – For an unlikely duo paired together under strange circumstances, Cesaro and Sheamus delivered some of this decade’s best tag team matches and won a few titles along the way, most notably unseating The New Day of their longest reigning Tag Team Championship run.

Bludgeon Brothers: While not as impactful as some fans would have hoped, not even winning their first titles together until WrestleMania 34, the team of Harper and Rowan were an excellent duo. Not only for their tremendous matches against The Usos in 2014, but they notably worked together to conquer Roman Reigns at Clash of Champions.

The Undisputed Era: In just the last couple of years of being signed to NXT, the group have managed to define the brand they’re on in a way that it’s hard to think of one without the other at this point.

5. The Revival

While their name mostly refers to both man’s mission to “revive” old school tag team wrestling, it’s hard not to view The Revival as a team that helped revive tag team wrestling in WWE as a whole.

Prior to their signing, WWE wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire with their tag team division, but thanks to some fresh, creative spots and reintroducing in-ring psychology into tag team matches on a consistent basis, The Revival offered the company some of their best ever tag team matches in recent memory.

Even when their onscreen booking had been less than stellar (Here’s lookin’ at you, Ucey Hot segment), not only were these two still over with crowds, but they managed to create big headlines along the way. Albeit, most of those headlines regarded them trying to leave WWE, but that’s a bigger discussion for another day.

During their run with WWE, however, they have had five star quality matches with whoever was put in front of them. Usos, American Alpha, New Day, D.I.Y. … name any tag team under the WWE’s radar and The Revival have likely had a barnburner against them. They’re just that good!
