The love quadrilateral between Rusev, Lana, Bobby Lashley, and Liv Morgan has unsurprisingly pleased Vince McMahon greatly, and WWE’s supreme leader reportedly envisions this storyline lasting longer, perhaps until WrestleMania 36.
Vince McMahon and Paul Heyman are not above using controversial storylines to grab attention and headlines, as they’ve been doing whatever they can to push the love triangle between Lana, Rusev, and Bobby Lashley. In fact, they made it a four-sided shape on the final episode of WWE Raw of the decade, as the returning Liv Morgan announced her love for – and past relationship with – Lana.
Of course, Vince and Heyman were pleased with the fallout of the main event segment and remain high on Lana, whose improv skills were praised by them backstage.
According to a report from WrestlingNews.Co’s Paul Davis, Vince was “very happy” with the segment and wants to do more of these “car wreck” stories. Davis writes that this storyline is “nowhere near its end”, as a source told him that they have a plan for the next “few weeks”.

Furthermore, the story could even last until WrestleMania, since more wild ideas are on the way – and Vince is reportedly encouraging members of the creative team to come up with more.

Many fans want to see this Lashley, Lana, Rusev, and now Liv story end as swiftly and painlessly as possible, but WWE have plans on getting these four wrestlers as over as possible.
The segments continue to be viewed in the millions on YouTube, suggesting a great deal of general interest in this storyline.
Though it’s worth exploring if another story would generate similar interest without the controversy.
Regardless, the four wrestlers involved will do what they can to make the most out of the added exposure. Bobby Lashley, for example, still has his eyes on a dream match with Brock Lesnar, so he could parlay this attention into the WWE Title match he’s long deserved.
Buckle up and get ready for a wild ride. If anyone can make the most out of something like this and get incredibly over as a babyface, it’s Rusev, so watch him closely if this story, which, again, WWE can’t get enough of, lasts until WrestleMania.
