5.) R-Truth

Last year, R-Truth was awarded the #30 spot in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match after winning the Mixed Match Challenge with Carmella. Unfortunately, Nia Jax stole his spot in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match after attacking him from behind.

Although R-Truth is busy chasing the 24/7 championship and had officially undeclared his entrance in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in a jocular segment with Brock Lesnar on Raw last week, he should get his #30 spot this year. R-Truth is not necessarily a #30 entrant that exceeds expectations but he is well adored by the WWE fanbase and his comic relief in the Royal Rumble would be more than enough to satisfy said expectations.

Does anyone remember when R-Truth foolishly brought a ladder into the ring for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match because he thought he was in a Money In The Bank Ladder Match? Good times.

4.) John Cena

Speaking of R-Truth, his hero, John Cena, would be a remarkable #30 entrant for the Men’s Royal Rumble Match this year. Even though the WWE Universe can’t see him, the face that runs the place has already proven that he can elicit a huge pop in the stadium and instantly become a favorite to win the Rumble, like he did in 2008 after recovering from a complete tear of his right pectoral muscle.

With the drawing power and experience Cena has in winning two Royal Rumbles in the years of 2008 and 2013, his return from Hollywood to the Royal Rumble would be worthwhile. Cena did say that he wants a substantial role at WrestleMania 36, and the Royal Rumble could set him up for such a role.
